Miami is served by several airports, with Miami International Airport (MIA) being the most prominent. It offers numerous connections to destinations both domestically and internationally.
Miami International Airport (MIA)
MIA is a major international airport, handling a large number of flights daily. It has multiple terminals, shops, restaurants, and transportation options to the city centre. You can reach downtown Miami from MIA via public transportation (Metrobus and Metrorail), taxi, or car. The Metromover, an automated elevated train, also connects different parts of downtown.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
FLL, located in Fort Lauderdale, is also used by some travellers visiting Miami. Although a little further away, this airport is known for being a little less busy. Public transportation, taxis, and rental cars are available for transport to Miami.
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)
PBI is the furthest from Miami. It is the smallest airport on this list and is used mostly by smaller aircrafts. Transfer options are still available with public transportation, taxis and rental cars.
