Perth has two main airports that serve commercial flights: Perth Airport (PER) and Jandakot Airport (JAD).
Perth Airport (PER)
Perth Airport is the major international airport serving Perth, Western Australia. It's a modern facility with multiple terminals, handling numerous domestic and international flights daily. It's well-connected to the city centre via public transport, taxis and car rental services.
To reach the city centre from Perth Airport, you can utilise the Airport Shuttle bus service which connects the airport to various locations. Alternatively, you can easily hail a taxi or rent a car for a more direct and flexible mode of transport.
Jandakot Airport (JAD)
Jandakot Airport primarily serves general aviation and smaller charter flights; therefore, it is less likely to be a destination for people arriving from Invercargill.
